Gildas on Fire Energy - September 2002

Edited extracts from a recent lecture by Gildas, on Fire Energy, with reference to what we can do to help in the resolution of the world situation with Iraq.

When you fear change you can be caught in a warp or lock where, at one and the same time, you hold on to stasis and also fear it. Extreme stasis is a separation from the Divine - therefore from the Divine spark, so you are right to fear that state.

Fire energy brings the creative spark that enables you to move out of stasis and see a new way through, a new outcome.

If fear paralyses you and you hold on too strongly to stasis then the spark will ignite a war at some level, either internal or external or both.

Out of war, eventually new solutions and new seeking for right relationship, may come but I ask you the question: 'Do you any longer need the suffering, the destruction, the devaluing of the human life-force and the dislocation between the principles of yin and yang that occur in the energy of war?

Out of the fire of war, the phoenix may rise from the ashes, but if too much ash is created from too frequent conflagrations linked to the fear of stasis and the fear for stasis, then the even the wings of the phoenix will be weighted down with ash and its rising will become more and more difficult.

You need fire to help you consume what needs to be left behind, but you need to avoid the fire that consumes in such a way that it produces too much ash so that the phoenix can no longer rise and the flame of hope becomes extinguished.

Spiritual strength and spiritual fire will prevent this situation from happening. It is our view that there are enough spiritually minded people now, to form a critical mass or creative minority especially if you invoke the help of the angels, who are also beings of spiritual fire.

The actions of Iraq need to be mirrored back, not by the mirroring of war, but by spiritual energy - spiritual fire. If in thought, prayer or meditation you mirror back the perverted creative energy that comes out of such world 'hot spots' as Iraq, then the energy will conflagrate itself. This might seem a drastic solution, just as war is a drastic solution, but meeting what is coming out of Iraq, with physical war and force will only generate a continued and ever-continuing power struggle.

Encircle Iraq with silver for mirroring and also containment and use your spiritually concerted strength to ignite only the sort of sparks which will enable movement and creativity without undue sacrifice of the innocent as would be inevitable in physical war.

Take the phoenix as a symbol and visualise it arising lightly from the ashes of the cleansing fire.

Invoke the gift of the light of the sun, your brightest star. Feel its ripening energy, ripening the fruit, as it does at this Autumnal time of year, ripening individual and collective human potential. When true human potential is manifest, no wars are needed, boundaries become clear and difference can be celebrated, not seen as a threat or challenge. Celebration of difference is the true state of Peace.
