Spiritual Growth
The benefits of spiritual growth and increased self-awareness show
in many areas of life. Spiritual, when interpreted in the widest
sense, means having a sense of purpose and meaning. Not living life
in an over-detached way, or in a vacuum.
Self growth means the greater self-knowledge that brings the ability
to live more creatively, make positive decisions and find joy and
fulfilment. The spiritually orientated, self-knowledgeable person
usually enjoys more positive mental and emotional adjustment and
better physical health and well-being.
Training the energy body helps in spiritual awareness and furthers
the ability to meditate and cross thresholds in life. It is an essential
basis for all who wish to be healers or to communicate with their
own guides.
A Correspondence Course
Tailored to individual needs, and provides a programme of:
- Meditation
- Reflection
- Breathing exercises
- Writing and Drawing exercises
- Work with chakras
Working with individual chakras and groups of chakras is recommended,
and guided, in order to strengthen the energetic body, and also
the ability to make spiritual connections. The programme is based
on regular assignments.
Initially for assessment purposes, you are asked for a life review,
in not more than 3,000 words. This provides the basis for designing
an individual syllabus, which includes work on:
- spiritual key words
- teaching
- advice
- insight and interpretation from Gildas
- consideration of karma
- blockages and obstacles encountered
- keeping a spiritual and dream journal.
You can choose the pace and depth at which you work, and the amount
of time you give to your assignments.
Cost and Commitment
Cost per session: £50
You are asked to commit to at least 6 sessions of work, and to
make a non-refundable deposit of £100 for the first 2 sessions
in advance. Thereafter, you may pay session by session at the time
of your appointment. Although the initial commitment is for 6 sessions,
you will probably find that following the course for 12 - 18 sessions
or longer will bring the greatest fulfilment.
A regular appointment is made with Ruth and Gildas, which can be
monthly, 6 weekly or every 2 months. You will be given each appointment
day and time in advance, and are asked to make sure that your notes
on each month's work arrive in time, either by mail, fax or email.
You are asked to tune in for at least the first 15 minutes
of your session. Ruth and Gildas spend about 1.5 to 2 hours evaluating
your progress and outlining your work for the following month.
